How to test
- Press Test my camera and allow the camera when your browser asks.
- Check the picture. Its size and frames per second appear above it.
- Use Mirror to flip the picture left to right.
- Take a photo if you want to look closely. Press Stop when you are done.
What the numbers mean
Size is the picture your browser is actually receiving, which can be smaller than the camera’s rated resolution. Frames per second is measured from the frames that arrive, so it can be lower than the rated number.
Where the picture goes
The preview and any photo stay in this tab. A photo is saved only if you press Save photo, and then it goes to your own downloads folder.

Questions
The picture is black. Why?
Check for a lens cover or a privacy switch first. If another app is using the camera, close it and press the button again.
Why do I look flipped compared with meeting apps?
Many apps show you a mirrored preview. The Mirror button here only changes what you see on this page.
Is the video uploaded?
No. There is no upload step and no server that receives video.
