Your microphone, camera and other devices
Microphone audio, recordings, camera video and photos are processed inside your browser tab. They are never uploaded to us or anyone else. A recording or photo stays in the tab’s memory until you delete it, replace it or close the tab. The microphone and camera are requested only after you press a button, and they are turned off when you press Stop, leave the page or hide the tab.
Key presses, mouse movement and controller input are counted on the page to show the result. They are not saved and not sent anywhere.
What is stored on your device
A few settings are kept in your browser so the page looks the same next time. Clearing site data removes them.
ck.layout: the keyboard layout you picked.ck.chatter: your double-typing setting, in milliseconds.ck.dblclick: your double-click setting, in milliseconds.ck.lang: that you closed or followed the language suggestion bar, so it is not shown again.ck.done(session storage, removed when the tab closes): which tests you have already run in this tab, so the lights stay on as you move between pages.
Visit statistics
We look at visit statistics through Cloudflare Web Analytics: which pages were viewed and how fast they loaded. According to Cloudflare, it does not use cookies or local storage. Nothing from your devices and no setting you choose in the tests is included. See Cloudflare Web Analytics.
Ads
This site shows ads through Google AdSense. Google and other ad vendors use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Because of these ads, third parties such as Google may place or read cookies in your browser and collect information through web beacons (tiny invisible images). See how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. You can turn off personalized ads in Google Ad Settings.
Fonts and server logs
The page loads its font from jsDelivr, a public content network, which receives your IP address like any web request. The site is served by Cloudflare, which may briefly keep basic request logs such as IP addresses to run the service securely. Neither receives your audio, video or input.
